Adventure Games
Adventure games can be quite complex and intended for children between the ages of 6-10. Adventure games tend to involve a character navigating through various scenarios and to get through a scenario, they usually must solve a puzzle. For example, in an adventure game, a young player may face a locked door. To open this door, they must adventure through their virtual environment in order to find some key or some mechanism to unlock this door. To get the key can involve even another puzzle or challenge. Many Adventure Games will also feature a story. For example, could be a central character looking for the princess, but to get to her, the hero must first navigate through several made up scenarios and solve varying riddles and puzzles in order to unlock a path to the princess. Adventure games, at times can be a great and fun activity to play with your child; especially when it is an adventure game with a lot of text.
