Anika's Odessey is a "point and click" adventure game. You play the character Anika who starts off her day doing chores. While doing your chores, a great eagle swoops down and kidnaps your pet. At this point, Anika's adventure begins. The game play is quite simple. It is up to you the player to navigate Anika around various puzzles and obstacles by pointing and clicking objects in the environment. By pointing at these objects, you cause Anika to perform tasks that will get her around obstacles. The game features simple but very engaging puzzles. The complexity of this game however makes it very difficult for children to play. This is definitely recommended more for middle school aged children and up.
