It has been reported that a follow up is expected to the title 'Resistance: Fall of Man' in the form of a new game 'Resistance 2'. Get ready for resistance and be prepared to battle.

It has been revealed that Insomniac Games has begun work on a sequel to 'Resistance: Fall of Man'. Considered as one of the most popular titles to accompany the PlayStation 3, the best selling game 'Resistance: Fall of Man' is believed to have been a solid seller and worthy of a follow-up. This science fiction type game proved to be very popular and it is believed that the market would look favorably upon a sequel. The original game's success may perhaps partly be due to the publicity received by the game through its controversial use of images of the Manchester Cathedral as the scene of a bloody battle.

Initial details regarding the new Resistance game suggest that it will offer large multi-player battles for up 60 players. It is believed that the game will feature the standard single player option in addition to an option for eight people to enjoy online co-op play. Apparently the game will also include three classes of characters that of course will include heavy weapons, special operations and medic. New vehicles are also expected to be included in the latest game. It seems that additionally the new title will feature voice chats and online game history and statistics.
