Atari Inc. has announced the development of the new title 'Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit' for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The release of the new video game is expected to take place during 2008.

Following recent publishing disputes regarding Dragon Ball Z titles, it is reported that Atari, video game publisher and distributor, has secured rights to the next issue of the Dragon Ball Z series. This new video game title is presently being developed by Namco Bandai Games Ltd and is expected to be published by Atari outside of Japan. Dragon Ball Z already has over 30 games to its name, but this new title promises great action and is being created especially for the new generation consoles.

Donny Clay, Producer of Atari Inc. stated that "Atari is excited and ready to offer fans the next iteration of the Dragon Ball Z video game series on the next gen. consoles". He added that "with explosive cinematic graphics and online game play, fans of the series and of the fighting genre will surely enjoy Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit."

This exciting game with its next generation graphics will include playable characters, online game play, 3D graphic effects, battles and fast and realistic action. This video game is schedule to be released later this year for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

It looks as though next generation console owners and Dragon Ball Z fans have something exciting to look forward to later in the year.
