It is rumored that Kudo Tsunoda, former Electronic Arts executive, is moving to Microsoft. Following the closing down of the EA Chicago studio, many wondered what would be the fate of its leader Kudo Tsunoda. It now appears that his talents may be brought to Microsoft to work on future Xbox 360 delights.
Kudo Tsunoda was the former General Manager of the EA Chicago studio that was recently closed down in November 2007. Fight Night fans and other gaming enthusiasts perhaps speculated what would become of the past EA studio head. It is now believed that Tsunoda may apparently be making tracks towards Microsoft's Xbox 360 division. Such a move would provide a working reunion between Tsunoda and Don Mattrick, who worked as a worldwide studios president for Electronic Arts in the past. It is interesting to note that Mattrick is presently engaged as senior vice president for the interactive entertainment business at Microsoft.
Tsunoda gained a great deal of work experience within the development field in the area of battle and combat games that included Fight Night 2004. It is reported that at the time of the closing down of the EA Chicago studio, Tsunoda and the development team were working on the creation of a fighting game involving the Marvel Comics characters.
Rumor also has it that Tsunoda's first challenge will be to take the lead of a game project for a new Gears of War title at Microsoft's Xbox 360 division.
The interested gaming community awaits official confirmation from Microsoft or from Kudo Tsunoda himself.
