The UbiDays event in Paris saw an official confirmation that a sequel to the 'Beyond Good and Evil' video adventure game is in the making.
There is good news out there for 'Beyond Good and Evil' fans. In a recent interview with French magazine JeuxVideo, it is reported that Michel Ancel tells that production work on 'Beyond Good and Evil' 2 has been underway for more than a year. Confirmation that a sequel to the action-packed 'Beyond Good and Evil' is in the workings has now been made by Ubisoft.
News regarding this sequel was released by publisher Ubisoft in the form of a teaser at the Ubidays second annual event in Paris. At the event itself, sample content of new upcoming games was shown. This included trailers for 'Far Cry 2' and 'Prince of Persia'. However, the best was saved for last and the Ubidays event was sealed with a teaser trailer for a new game which could only be a second adventure for 'Beyond Good and Evil'.
The trailer showed a large pig snorting flies. Although no name was provided for the teaser, it is quite clear that the man-sized pig was Peyj previously featured in the original game and that the video game in question refers to 'Beyond Good and Evil'.
It is now quite apparent that there will be another game turning 'Beyond Good and Evil' into a series, but as yet there is no further information regarding platforms, name of the game or an expected release date.
