The E3 Media & Business Summit is just around the corner and it has been hinted that Halo developer, Bungie, has something new hiding up its sleeve, waiting to be revealed.
Bungie and Microsoft parted ways after the release of the successful hit, Halo 3, which seemed to hit the gaming world by storm. At the time of this separation, Bungie implied that they would be able to work on different projects and produce more than Halo in the future.
It is now reported that from a conversation between two members of the Bungie team, something new seems to be on the cards. It was hinted that a studio related announcement is expected to be forthcoming for the E3 summit next week. During a broadcast of the 'Bungie podcast', the show host Brian Jarrard bantered with Luke Smith. As a part of this banter there was a hint that something would be taking place on July14. The Bungie guys joked seemingly between themselves. During the broadcast one asked "Isn't there something going on, on July 14th or something like that?" His colleague replied "Yeah, around then. There's something. Somehow that's sticking in my head for some reason. Guess we'll have to see." It is rumored that this could be connected to a new Bungie project.
Excited enthusiasts will just have to show a bit of patience and wait to see what will be revealed at the E3 show.
