Skill Games
Skill games are quite straight forward and a fun way to help a child’s development. Some skill games can help physically by giving kids practice with their hand eye coordination. For example, some games accomplish this by having games where the goal is to catch or click on objects in the screen that are moving or vanishing and reappearing at different intervals. Some games can help mental skills as well such as spelling and speech. These games can involve having a child pick correct words after hearing the game or computer say a word. Sometimes, games can increase skills on a macro level. For example, adventure games can both help a child develop hand eye coordination and their intelligence by solving puzzles. Skill games can also be educational tools that are designed to specifically teach a child something specific. For example, there are skill games that help students learn how to identify the different kinds of notes and the sound of these notes through matching pictures. They can also go as far as teaching children about important historical characters as well. Skill games are definitely a fun way for a child to learn.
